Q. What is the difference between group and private swimming lessons?
There is an allocated class size, location and schedule for group classes. On the other hand, for private lessons, students have the flexibility of choosing their class size, preferred location and timing.
Q. Where do you all conduct your group swimming lessons?
Isplash Swim School's flagship swimming classes are conducted at THE CHEVRONS (Jurong East), Activesg Jurong West, Activesg Jurong Lake Gardens, Activesg Bukit Batok and Activesg Choa Chu Kang. We conduct toddler, adult, ladies and kids swimming lessons on weekday evenings and weekends.
Alternatively, if you prefer group or private swimming classes at another swimming complex or the pool of your private condominium/apartment. We will do a free matching service for you with our list of registered instructors at all other swimming complexes. Fill up the form, "Find a group class at your preferred location", and our friendly coordinator will contact you shortly.
Q. How many students are there in your group swimming lessons?
We conduct toddler group classes with a maximum class size of up to 6 students.
We conduct kids group classes with a maximum class size for beginners of up to 6 students (THE CHEVRONS) and 8 students (ActiveSG pools).
We conduct adult group classes with a maximum class size of up to 10 students.
Please note that the MOE/ActiveSG guideline for Swimsafer classes is up to 10 students per class. We require all our registered instructors at other pools to adhere strictly to the swimsafer guidelines as well.
Q. Do I need to pay any registration fees or deposits?
If you engage in our weekly swim classes, we do not require our clients to pay any registration fees or deposits. However, for students enrolling for swim classes in ActiveSG swimming pools, all users are required to pay entry fees.
On the other hand, for clients registering our matching service, if the swimming instructor requires you to pay for any registration fees or deposits, we will update you to the best knowledge. Upon agreement, we will update you with the contact details of the swimming instructor. We will not collect any advance payments for you and the payment will be arranged directly with you or your child's swimming instructor.
Q. I am interested in registering for a swimming class at another swimming complex/condominium that does not match your schedule and venue. Will the fees be similar?
The fees that were highlighted on our portals are based on our flagship swimming classes. However, there might be a variation in the lesson fees with our affiliated coaches or swimming school at another swimming complex. Feel free to check with us by highlighting to us your preferred venue and schedule. Our friendly coordinators will update you with the lesson fees based on your preferred choices.
On the other hand, private class fees will be based on our lessons rate page.
Q. Can I have private swimming lessons at my condominium or apartment?
Yes, students are able to choose their preferred locations for private swimming lessons. They can choose to have their swimming lessons at the various public pools in Singapore or their own private residence pool. However, for swimming lessons in a private residence pool, clients are to liaise with their respective residence management for the instructor to enter and conduct swimming lessons.
On the other hand, if a student chooses a private swimming lesson at a public pool (eg. Clementi Swimming Complex), students just need to liaise with the instructor directly as our registered instructors are certified to conduct lessons in the public pool.
Q. What do I need to bring for my swimming class?
Personal swimming gear, goggles, and a kicking board. In the event, that more learning equipment is needed, instructors will inform you.
