Terms and Conditions

Kids Swimming Lessons (Group)

  1.  The fees exclude any entrance fees, test fees, certificate fees, and printing fees. The accompanying parent will have to pay entrance fees at all ActiveSG swimming pools. 
  2. All Isplash Swim School’s group lesson schedule is fixed, and there will be no compensations or make-up lessons for bad weather, absenteeism, late arrival, or any other type of cancellation.
  3.  Replacement lessons and/ or class extensions will be approved due to
    • Medical Reasons and School’s Commitments  (All-Year) 

    The approval of replacement lessons will be subject to Isplash’s approval, provided that relevant supporting documents are furnished (i.e. Medical Certificate/Memo & official letter of school commitments that affect the exact day of the lesson). 

    Request for replacement lessons due to travel-related reasons that are not within the MOE Schools' Vacation Periods will not be allowed or approved. The approval of replacement lessons due to travel during the vacation period, as stated below,  will be subject to Isplash’s approval, provided that relevant supporting documents are furnished.

  4. A replacement instructor will be assigned if the class’s assigned instructor is absent. 
  5. No lessons during public holidays, Chinese New Year's Eve and Chinese New Year day 1 to day 3 unless advised differently by the instructor or the school.
  6. In the event of bad weather conditions or unforeseen pool closure, land exercises and/or SwimSafer theory classes will be conducted instead, and the lesson will NOT be replaced.
  7. There will be four lessons per month, and no lesson on the fifth week unless otherwise advised by the school.
  8. A minimum of TWO weeks (ActiveSG) and ONE month (THE CHEVRONS) notification is required for withdrawal of swimming lessons.

Adult Swimming Lessons (Group)

  1. The fees exclude any entrance fees, test fees, certificate fees, and printing fees.
  2. All Isplash Swim School’s group lesson schedule is fixed, and there will be no compensations or make-up lessons for bad weather, absenteeism, late arrival, or any other type of cancellation.
  3. A Maximum of 2 replacement lessons will be provided for every 8 lessons signed up. The replacement lesson can be utilised for any reason (Sick, working overtime, menses, vaccination etc.), provided the absence is communicated to the coordinator at least 24 hours before the START time of the scheduled lesson.  
  4. In the event of bad weather conditions or unforeseen pool closure on the 1st affected week of the month, there will be NO replacement lesson provided. If an Entire lesson is cancelled due to bad weather for more than 1 session in the same month, the instructor will arrange for class extension/replacement classes based on his/her availability. 

For our Matching Service

  1. Terms and Conditions are stipulated by individual freelance swim coaches and schools. Please check with our coordinators and/or coach before signing up.

For Private Lessons

  1.  The fees exclude any entrance fees, test fees, certificate fees, and printing fees. The accompanying parent will have to pay entrance fees at all ActiveSG swimming pools. 
  2. No postponement or cancellation will be allowed unless the instructor is notified a minimum of 1 day in advance.
  3. Students are required to arrange for a make-up lesson with the instructor if cancelled
  4. Students are required to undergo at least FOUR lessons every month

Indemnity

By participating in the programme, 

  1. I hereby agree that Isplash Swim School PTE LTD is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury caused to me in connection with my or my child's participation in the swimming programme.
  2. I shall indemnify the staff/instructors/officials of Isplash Swim School PTE LTD for any claims, losses, and damages brought against Isplash Swim Schoolarising from my participation in the swimming programme.
  3. I also agree to abide by and be bound by the terms and conditions as stipulated above, subject to any amendments made from time to time by Isplash Swim School PTE LTD.
