SwimSafer Programme
A programme introduced on July 2010 in coordination with Singapore Sports Council, it is a program which combine both the Learn-To-Swim programme and National Survival Swimming Award(NASSA). Read about the difference between SwimSafer and NASSA.
It comprises of a progressive six stage programmes which emphasize on proper swimming techniques and survival/life savings skills. Upon completion of every stage, successful candidates will be awarded with a certificate to mark his/her achievement.
SwimSafer Stage 1 Award
The first stage of the SwimSafer Programme aims to foster confidence and encourage children to be independent in the pool. Children can gain knowledge about water safety, the correct techniques in entering and exiting a pool safely, and moving frontward and backward in the water.

SwimSafer Stage 2 Award
The second stage of the SwimSafer Programme focus on developing and improving the skills of students such as stepping in entry, surface diving with feet first and doing drills to promote water safety. At this stage, the aim is for students to be able to swim 25metres continuously.

SwimSafer Stage 3 Award
The third stage of the SwimSafer programme puts emphases on swimming strokes and skills developments. Some of the skills include being able to perform under-water drill and usage of Personal Flotation Device (PFD). In addition, students will be imparted with individual survival and fundamental rescue skills knowledge. At this stage, the aim is for students to be able to swim 25metres continuously.

SwimSafer Bronze Award
The Bronze award stage is the recognition of a more advance swimmer. Students will be taught in coordinating breathing while swimming in deeper water. Further development of knowledge and skills in terms of water safety, rescue and individual survival skills will also be highlighted in lessons.

SwimSafer Silver Award
The Silver Stage award will introduce diving skills. More advance lessons on rescue and individual survivals skills will also be emphasize. Students are expected to perform competent in terms of swimming stroke to achieve this award milestone.

SwimSafer Gold Award
The final stage, Gold award, is a milestone which expects and signifies competent swimming skills, strokes, rescuing skills and safety in the water knowledge.
