Terms and Conditions

Attendance and Make up Policy

For Isplash Swim School group swimming lessons

  1. All Isplash Swim School’s group lessons’ schedule is fixed and there will be no compensations or make-up lessons for bad weather, absenteeism, late coming or cancellation of any sort.
  2. Any postponement of lessons by the instructor will be made within the same month.
  3. No lessons during public holidays, Chinese new year eve and Chinese new year day 1 to day 3 unless advised differently by the instructor or the school.
  4. There will be four lessons in a month and no lesson on the fifth week unless advised differently by instructor.

For our freelance coaches group swimming lessons

  1. All freelance coaches group lessons’ schedule is fixed and there will be no compensations or make-up lessons for bad weather, absenteeism, late coming or cancellation of any sort.
  2. No lessons during public holidays, Chinese new year eve and Chinese new year day 1 to day 3 unless advised differently by instructor.
  3. There will be four lessons in a month and no lesson on the fifth week unless advised differently by instructor.

For private lessons

  1. No last minute lesson cancellation will be entertained unless instructor is being notified a minimum of 1 day in advance.
  2. Students are required to arrange for a make-up lesson with the instructor if cancelled
  3. Students are required to undergo at least FOUR lessons on a monthly basis

Entrance fee

For public swimming pools

  1. Students and everyone who wish to enter into the swimming complex are required to purchase their entrance ticket

For private pools

  1. Students are to pay for deposits, parking or entrance fees if required for the instructor
  2. Students are strongly advised to check on their condo terms and requirements before hiring a private swimming instructor

 

Isplash Swim School Group Lessons

  1. All Isplash Swim School group lessons are conducted by our chosen instructors.
  2. Student is required to purchase the necessary equipment such as swimming attire, goggles, kicking board and swim cap for lessons.
  3. No refunds or make up lessons will be made if lessons are cancelled due to bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances that are not within the school control. However, lesson will still commence with instructors conducting dry land drills and theory classes.
  4. No refunds or make up lessons will be made if student is absent.
  5. School fee payments are to be made at the first lesson of every month
  6. Student who missed more than 4 lessons without valid reasons will be removed from the class.
  7. Students selected to take the swimsafer test are required to register and pay for their own test fee (excluding the month lessons fee)
  8. We reserve to postpone the start date of new classes in the event if the class size does not meet the minimum capacity and requirements.
  9. We reserve the right to merge different classes of similar level if class size does not meet the minimum capacity and requirements.
  10. We reserve the right to send a relief instructor in the event if group instructor is unavailable to conduct the lessons.

Termination

A minimum of TWO weeks notification is required for withdrawal of swimming lessons.

Refund and transfer policy

  1. No refund once lessons commence.
  2. Request of refunds must be made within 7 days before first lessons or 7 days after payment
  3. Fees are not transferable to third party.

Responsibility 
We will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any injury, damage or loss of life while attending this course and this includes all cost, and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.
