Kids Group Swimming Lessons
Our swimming lessons for kids are conducted in line with the latest guidelines of the SwimSafer Programme, under the updated Swim Singapore Framework. Each class is carefully structured to prioritise safety, fun, engagement, and progressive learning — ensuring that children not only enjoy their lessons but also develop essential water safety skills at every stage.
We offer over 200 weekly group swimming classes for kids, available on both weekdays and weekends. These lessons are conducted at convenient and accessible locations across Singapore, including THE CHEVRONS (Jurong East), ActiveSG Jurong West, ActiveSG Jurong Lake, ActiveSG Bukit Batok, and ActiveSG Choa Chu Kang swimming complexes.
Smaller Group Size
For parents seeking smaller group class sizes, we offer this option exclusively at THE CHEVRONS. These smaller group settings provide more personalised coaching, allowing instructors to focus on each child’s technique, progress, and confidence in the water.
Free Matching Service
If you prefer group swimming lessons for kids at another public pool or your own condominium’s swimming pool, our team offers a free instructor matching service. With a large network of certified swim coaches, we will do our best to arrange a suitable class for your child — at no extra cost.

SwimSafer Programme

Beginner Stage: Water Confidence stage
(Swimsafer Stage 1)
Students will be imparted with knowledge on how to perform entering and exiting pool properly, personal survival skills and entering deep-end water safely. Students will build their water confidence and floating abilities by participating in games that will be able to effectively enhance this skills.
Upon building of water confidence, students will be learning how to swim forward and backward for a short distance. Students will be taught on breaststroke at this stage.

Intermediate Stage: Fundamental water and stroke development skills
(Swimsafer Stage 2 and 3)
Students will learn to continuously swim at least 25 to 50 meters. In addition, students will be performing drills to perform freestyle and survival backstroke. Development of general skills such as step in entry, sculling and usage of Personal Flotation Device(PFD) will be covered in the lesson plan.

Advance stage: Water survival and stroke proficiency
(Swimsafer Bronze, Silver and Gold Stage)
Depending on the stage, students will learn various swimming and survival strokes while coordinating breathing in deep water for distances of up to 400 meters. Further rescue, lifesaving, and general skills development will also be covered in the lesson plan.
Upon completion of the Swimsafer awards, students can opt to pursue the Lifesaving 1,2, 3 and Bronze Medallion Awards.

Swimsafer (MOE) syllabus
Not only will our coaches teach your child to swim confidently, but in the event that your child fulfills the criteria to participate in the Swimsafer award, we will also enroll him/her for the test.
Students will be learning essential skills such as safety and lifesaving knowledge which will be a beneficial lifelong skill. We are proud to announce that we achieved over 97% passing rate for selected students who participated in the Swimsafer tests from 2015 to 2024.

Advanced Swim Classes
Being an affiliated swim school of Singapore Aquatics and Singapore Lifesaving Society. We provide opportunities for our students who have completed the SwimSafer gold award to further their swim proficiency as lifesavers.
Students will be taught advanced competitive swimming techniques and participate in the Lifesaving 1, 2, 3, and bronze medallion examinations conducted by the Singapore Life Saving Society. Attaining a bronze medallion award will enable our students to be recognised and certified lifesavers in Singapore.

Convenience, Affordable and Fair Lessons Policy
We adopt a fair replacement lesson policy for students in our flagship classes. Students will be given replacement classes for missing classes due to illness, school commitments, and travel plans during the school vacation period.
Our lesson fees are collected on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Additionally, we do not collect deposits or registration fees for our classes and all new students enrolled in our in-house group swimming classes for kids are also entitled to a limited edition swimming cap and a hydro mesh storage bag (U.P. $50) for FREE.
With hundreds of classes conducted every week, parents will be glad to know that we have Weekday and Weekend classes at Jurong East (The Chevrons), Jurong West, Jurong Lake Gardens, Bukit Batok, and Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex.

Private Kids Swimming Classes
We understand that some parents may prefer enrolling their child in private swimming lessons for kids to provide a more personalised and focused learning experience. Whether it’s for greater flexibility, faster progress, or a preferred venue, our team is here to support your needs.
At Isplash, our coordinators will help you arrange either a private or small-group swimming class at your preferred location — be it a nearby public pool or your own condominium. With a network of over 350 affiliated coaches and partner swim schools across Singapore, we do our best to match your child with the most suitable coach and class — all at no additional cost.
You may choose to enrol your child (or even yourself) for a kids or adult swimming class, and we’ll recommend the best options based on your schedule and location.
There are no upfront payments required for our matching service. Once a suitable class is confirmed, lesson fees are paid directly to the assigned coach.

FAQ For Kids Swimming Lessons
What is the age range for kids’ group swimming classes?
Our kids’ group swimming lessons are designed for children aged 5 to 13 years old. For younger children aged 2 to 4.5 years, we recommend enrolling in our toddler swimming lessons.
My child is scared of water. Are your swimming lessons beginner-friendly?
Yes. Our swimming lessons for kids are designed to help even the most water-shy beginners feel safe and comfortable. Our experienced coaches use a gentle, encouraging approach to gradually build water confidence through fun and engaging activities. Lessons are paced according to each child’s comfort level, ensuring a positive and enjoyable first step into learning to swim.
My child has prior swimming experience — which class should they join?
Please share your child’s swimming background with us when registering. On the first day of lessons, our senior coaches will re-assess their ability and, if necessary, recommend or transfer them to a class that best matches their swimming proficiency. This ensures your child is placed in the most suitable swimming lessons for kids to support their progress.
Will my child receive a SwimSafer Award?
Yes. Our lessons follow the official guidelines of the SwimSafer Programme. Students who are assessed as ready by our coaches will be invited to participate in the SwimSafer assessments, where they can earn recognised national certification.
How long will it take for my child to learn how to swim?
The time it takes to learn varies for each child and depends on factors such as age, water confidence, learning pace, and lesson frequency. For more details, please refer to this article.
